Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks "Banff Springs Hotel in Banff National Park is a reported location of multiple hauntings, including the ghosts of a young bride and a bellman."

Florence "The Hotel Burchianti in Florence has become the scene of many ghostly rumours. Not the most chilling of all supernatural tales, but guests have claimed to have seen visions (of) both a child skipping down the hallways, as well as a phantom woman knitting in a chair. Stories of the hotel's Fresco room are not so innocent, with reports of guests feeling an icy breath sensation."
Fujisan Aokigahara, the forest at the bottom of Mt. Fuji, is a popular location for suicide. This gives rise to a widespread belief that it is haunted.
Great Wall "The Great Wall of China is considered by believers to be haunted. The TV series "Destination Truth" sent an expedition to spend the night investigating these supernatural reports."
Guanajuato Le Casa de las Brujas or The House of the Witches, was built in 1845, and was owned by a Dutch mine owner by the name of Juan Carson. He was imprisoned for the murder of a man, and his daughter Susan was left in the custody of her aunts in the house. She was supposedly found beaten and starved to death in the cellar after a year. According to legend, Susan's ghost is said to haunt the house and odd sounds, and cold spots have been reported here (wiki)
Gwynedd Castles Beaumaris is said to be home to strange echoes of chanting which have been caught on audio recording equipment by visitors to the small chapel area. The feeling of being watched has also been felt in the long dark corridors and an over-all sense of loneliness can be felt (wiki)
Himeji-jo Okiku's Well at Himeji Castle is often said to be haunted by the ghost of Okiku. She is supposed to rise from the well at night and count to nine before shrieking and returning to the well. (wiki)
Hospicio Cabañas "According to the legend several ghosts haunt it, mainly children spirits who wander in the building. Also supposedly it had a monumental clock installed in 1952. The clock mysteriously stopped whenever a child died in the orphanage."

Macao "Calçada do Amparo, an alley located behind the Ruins of St. Paul's, is believed to be haunted by ghosts of overweight people who were killed during the Second Sino-Japanese War, during the period of severe food shortage in Macau. Guia Hill is said by believers to be haunted by hungry ghosts targeting joggers at night."

Mexico City and Xochimilco "Casa de los Condes de la Torre Cossío y de la Cortina , or the House of the Count De la Torre y la Cortina (...): A colonial mansion, in which during the 1630s, a spree killer named Juan Manuel de Solórzano lived. Believing his wife unfaithful, he killed several men, simply because they walked outside to his house. Juan Manuel would ask them the time, if they responded 11 pm, or showed anxiety, he would stab them. He was executed in 1641. The legend says that a man with 1600s-era clothing wanders in and around the house, sometimes asking bystanders for the time, and soon after disappearing."

Nahanni National Park "Many tribes were afraid to settle within the region as they believed it to be an evil, haunted place inhabited by various spirits, specters, and devils." There is also a legend of violent deaths: multiple people have been found dead with their head cut off and nowhere to be found. "In addition to the mysterious beheadings, a good many others simply went missing without a trace. (...) Other phenomena have been reported from here as well. Mysterious lights and UFOs have long been sighted in the valley, as well as other unusual aerial phenomena."
Oaxaca and Monte Alban Oaxaca City: One of most famous legends is of "Matlazihua" or "Matlacihua", an evil entity who has the form of beautiful Native American woman dressed with a large white transparent dress. She often seduces men, hypnotizes them and brings them to solitary sites where she kills them or make them go crazy. She prefers machists and drinking men. According to some versions, she is an incarnation of the Aztec goddess Mictlantecihuát; others say she is a succubus type and according to others, she is a girl ghost who was raped and murdered during colonization and now seeks revenge."
Paris, Banks of the Seine Notre-Dame: "Stories have (...) been told of ghosts of women who can be seen flitting between gargoyles, as well as spirits of powerful French figures who wander inside its walls. / Jardin des Tuileries: "The Red Man of the Tuileries, as he is known, was a butcher murdered on the orders of Catherine de Médici for the crime of knowing too much about the private affairs of the crown. (...) Legend has it that his appearances foreshadow dramatic moments in the nation's history."

Puebla The Instituto Cultural Poblano is haunted by ghosts from the different stages of its history. The Santa Mónica Religious Art Museum, a former convent, is also supposedly haunted by the lady of white, "apparitions of persons with antique clothing" wandering around the installations and nonexistent clocks sounding. The San Pedro Art Museum "is allegedly haunted by the ghosts of people buried under its courtyard when it was a hospital. Reports include the ghosts of a revolutionary soldier, people in old-fashioned clothes, and a little girl playing with a ball."
Pyramids (Memphis) Pyramids of Giza: A man in early 20th century clothing has been seen by visitors, and rumors have reported him to be the ghost of Howard Carter. Various employees and tourists have reported seeing an orb figure that appeared to be an apparition of an Egyptian Pharaoh, float away from the pyramids, and head south toward the Valley of the Kings. Querétaro "Casa de La Zacatecana: A colonial mansion in Santiago de Querétaro, Querétaro. In the 17th century, a woman known as 'La Zacatecana' commanded the murder of her husband, and then executed the killer that she contracted for the murder. The legend says that the mansion harbours three spirits."
Québec Château Frontenac - "Many people, including the hotel's director, have spotted a man sitting on a windowsill overlooking the city, only to suddenly vanish moments later. This is allegedly the spirit of Louis de Buade de Frontenac, the man that the hotel was named after."
Rideau Canal Fort Henry: "During evenings year-round a tour company conducts tours of the fort that highlight the fort's supposedly haunted past." (wiki)
Rome The Colosseum "was reported to be haunted according to some witnesses and researchers' testimonies. Visitors have described observing ghostly figures wandering the staircases. There have been reports of hearing the cheers and screams from a crowd while no sign of people in the particular section. The vaults were, reportedly, active by the spirits of gladiators waiting to fight, actors waiting to perform, and prisoners becoming prepared for execution. Several accounts of cold touches or pushes have been felt by both tourists and employees. Sounds of animals have also been heard within the vaults."
Sagarmatha National Park Mount Everest: the tallest mountain on land is reported to be haunted by the ghost of climber Andrew Irvine, who died in his attempt to reach the top back in 1924. His spirit is said to visit the tents of other climbers, giving confidence in their ascent.(wiki)
San Miguel de Allende "Casa de Sierra Nevada Hotel (...): allegedly, in this colonial building, the spirits of a 1910s butler and a 19th-century little girl appears. The first often interacts with people, a coffee aroma is associated with his presence; the second ghost often wanders for the gardens."
Schwerin Residence Ensemble "The ghost Petermännchen ("little Peterman") is said to roam the halls of the Schweriner Schloss. This invisible little creature is said to be no more than a few feet high and is often depicted in clothes from the 17th century, something resembling a cavalier. Other legends describe him as a long-bearded blacksmith, night watchman, or prankster to those who would seek to harm or steal from the castle." (wiki)
Stonehenge Avebury, Red Lion pub: "one of the most haunted pubs in the entire United Kingdom"
Tower of London The fortress has been reported to be one of the most haunted buildings in England, since its construction by King William the Conqueror in 1078. wiki)
Venice and its Lagoon Poveglia: "This island, near Venice, was once a sanctuary to refugees during the Ottoman conflicts, and a hospice for sick patients throughout the centuries. It was detailed, from witnesses, haunted by many victims of the plague." (wiki)
Versailles Was once home to the French royal family between 1682 and 1789. A few tourists and employees have reported seeing people in 18th century clothing. There have been reports of numerous sightings of the beheaded Queen Marie Antoinette. (wiki)

Zacatecas "One of the most popular legends is the legend of "Calle de las tres cruces". Here in 1761, two lovers— named Gabriel García and Beatriz Moncada— died in tragic circumstances, the legend says that the lovers ghosts appears in this street. (...) An other legend tells about a haunted backstreet named "Callejón del indio triste" where Xolotl, one of the last Chichimeca natives leaders, died during the 1550s. Another alleged haunted backstreet is known as "Callejón del mono prieto", where according to the legend, in the 17th century, a woman named Marciana Castillo died. The people believed that she practiced witchcraft (...)."
